Mary’s love for health and fitness started 14 years ago. It was then that she saw the benefits that nutrition had in the recovery of a Cancer patient. Because of her desire to live longer and enhance her quality of life, she further learned about the strength and energy gained through the use of nutrition and exercise. This interest for health grew as she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and her Masters in Physical Therapy. Mary has been a Certified Fitness Trainer for over 10 years. Mary is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, ACE, REPS and BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer, HCPC Registered Physiotherapist and CWA Climbing Instructor. Mary enjoys rock climbing, hiking, river rafting and running with her vegan dog, Bella. She also loves participating in bouldering competitions and obstacle endurance events like "Tough Mudder".
Mary has extensive experience working with a variety of clientele in the health and fitness industry in Canada, U.S.A., Scotland, England and France. Furthermore, she has experience with sports injuries, back/neck problems, joint/muscle problems and neurological problems. Over the past decade, she has performed countless biomechanical assessments that have helped her develop individualised functional programmes to enhance the performance of her clients and attain their goals.
Mary understands the uniqueness of each client and tailors her sessions to his/her individual needs. Mary currently offers individualised personal training, physiotherapy, exercise planning and nutrition planning. Mary maintains a select client base in gyms, homes and outdoors, making fitness accessible and easy.

With respect to Mary’s background and knowledge in Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, fitness and health, her specialty is in correcting muscle imbalances and structural abnormalities through the use of appropriate functional exercises. Together with Mary you will stabilize and mobilize key muscle groups to help you attain optimal flexibility, strength and balance. Mary will use safe exercise techniques with an emphasis in performance enhancement and injury prevention while attaining your health and fitness goals.
